The existing boat house had to be demolished and reconstructed on the edge of a private fishing lake. The newly constructed basement is partially submerged to allow fishing boats safe docking.

Defence Academy of the United Kingdom

Construction of  a reinforced concrete blast-proof building for the examination of improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The detailing of this structure needed to be exact in order to carefully control the direction and deflection of explosions.

Paddington Green Police Station

Construction of specialised cells for the Police. These new bomb-proof, sound attenuated cells are fitted with internal rubber pads to ensure soundproofing and purpose built with security in mind.

Spectrum House

Woking

Spectrum House in a unique collection of 41 modern, one-bedroom apartments located in the centre of Woking.

To convert it from an office to habitable accommodation we demolished and diamond cut away part of the existing structure to extend the circular lift shaft and curved staircase. From the third floor to the roof we constructed a new concrete floor slab with columns held in tension to support the floors beneath.
